From Group Project Partners to Life Partners: Our Love Story at SDSU
We met in class at San Diego State University. We were randomly put into a group project together and out of all the members, Leia consistently stayed back to help Michael complete the project. Once they realized they got along so easily they found every excuse to study and hang out during the summer of 2016!
That summer they fell in love chasing spontaneous trips, crazy date ideas, and found out that they both loved documenting it all on our cameras - which inspired the creation of their business madlovemedia.
A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT US
Their first top tier culinary experience together was $1 Tender Thursdays at Wingstop - a staple for any broke college student
They got engaged at Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach, one of their first date spots
They’ve been together for 7 years. Four of those years were long distance when Michael was working in the Midwest/ East Coast.
They’ve been fortunate enough to travel to New York, Hawaii, Indiana, Oregon, and internationally to Panama to visit Michael’s family.
They compete in a yearly tri-sport tournament against Leia’s dad & brothers during the holidays. Sadly, the couple has yet to take home a title. Who knows - maybe next year! :)
